The Gift Left Unopened: A Christmas Invitation You Can’t Afford to Miss

Welcome, dear friends, to this special Christmas message that I am thrilled to share with you. As we find ourselves enveloped by the holiday season, it’s a time filled with joy, reflection, and perhaps, some deep contemplation. Let's pause and consider not just the external festivities but the profound invitation Christmas presents: the chance to open a gift that too often remains untouched.

The Gift Left Unopened — A Christmas Message You Can’t Miss

## Unwrapping the True Gift of Christmas

Christmas is much more than a festive season; it is an invitation. Unfortunately, amid the cacophony of December, the sacred reason we celebrate is at risk of being drowned out. Joy feels distant for many, and that is precisely why my latest song is titled *The Gift Left Unopened*.

As we gather here today, this song will be shared at the end of the episode, so stay tuned. You can also find the music video on our YouTube channel, with all the links conveniently available in the show notes. For those who haven't yet enjoyed our previous releases, I encourage you to explore the continually growing playlist on YouTube. The songs are also accessible on various platforms like Apple Music and Spotify.

## A Season Filled with Glitter, Yet Hearts are Empty

Our experience of Christmas often sparkles on the surface, but too frequently, hearts remain empty beneath. We're driven by a chase for treasures, hidden behind wrapping paper and beneath twinkling lights and trees. Yet, my friends, real transformation lies beyond this material chase—it lies with Jesus Christ.

From silent Bethlehem, God entered our world's darkness, stepping into a broken night to deliver salvation. That observer—that reflection—is what Christmas truly means. It wasn't the creation of a holiday Jesus aimed for, but an offering of salvation. Consider the poignant lyric, "He took the cross before the cradle," illustrating the foresight of God’s love.

## Jesus’ Journey and Our Hearts of Rejection

Another heart-wrenching element of the Christmas story is the absence of room for Jesus at the inn. From His first breath, Jesus knew the pain of being ignored and unwanted. This resonates with many of us who have also felt rejection. Through it all, Christ remains the one who knocks, waiting with endless love, asking for just one heart to turn.

The cultural noise, pressure, and constant busyness we face today are nothing new. Despite it, God’s whisper remains, reminding us that the gift is ours by choice. We decide whether to open or leave it unattended.

## A Call to Open Our Hearts

Right in the thick of life’s chaos, there's a voice whispering your name. Jesus came to erase your shame—not for the perfect but for the broken, the hurting, and the overwhelmed. Let us not forget that the road from the manger directly connects to Calvary. The Christmas gift may have arrived in a manger, but its journey was fulfilled with the sacrifice on the cross.

And so, the invitation stands: open the gift, let mercy transform your soul, and leave behind the chains you've carried. Let Jesus mark your name in Glory.

## Closing Prayer and Reflection

As we part, I invite you to join me in prayer:

"Lord Jesus, as we navigate this season, help us to hear Your whispers amid chaos. Open our eyes to Your love and encourage us to accept the gift of grace You offer so freely. Thank You for entering our darkness and carrying our shame. For each listener here today, grant the courage to say yes to this gift. Amen."

Merry Christmas, dear friends. Do not let this gift remain unopened. Embrace the season, embrace the Savior, and above all, open the gift of love, joy, and salvation offered to you this Christmas. God bless you all, and have a truly wonderful day.
